Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, inventory management, and order fulfillment
- Supervise and mentor part-time staff, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards
- Coordinate cross-functional logistics activities with transportation and inventory teams
- Implement process improvements to optimize space utilization and workflow efficiency
- Conduct regular safety audits and maintain OSHA compliance documentation
- Resolve operational issues and escalate complex challenges to senior management
Qualifications
- 3+ years of warehouse/supervisory experience with proven leadership track record
- Familiarity with WMS systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP) and inventory management practices
- OSHA 10 certification or equivalent safety training
- Strong problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment (forklift, pallet jack) safely
- Excellent communication skills with ability to train diverse teams
- Flexibility to work evenings/weekends during peak seasons
