Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate warehouse staff to ensure efficient receiving, storage, and shipping operations
- Implement safety protocols and maintain OSHA compliance standards across all workflows
- Optimize inventory management systems, including cycle counts and reconciliation processes
- Train and mentor team members on equipment operation, safety procedures, and best practices
- Monitor productivity metrics and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency
- Coordinate with transportation teams to ensure timely loading/unloading of shipments
- Resolve operational challenges and escalate critical issues to management promptly
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree or technical certification preferred
- Minimum 2 years warehouse experience with 1+ years in supervisory role
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control software
- OSHA certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire
- Strong leadership skills with ability to motivate and develop diverse teams
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in varying temperature conditions
- Valid Louisiana driver's license and clean driving record
