Responsibilities
- Supervise daily warehouse operations including receiving, inventory management, and order fulfillment
- Train and coordinate part-time staff to ensure efficient workflow adherence
- Implement and enforce OSHA safety standards and housekeeping protocols
- Conduct cycle counts and reconcile inventory discrepancies
- Optimize storage systems to maximize space utilization
- Coordinate with transportation teams for seamless dock scheduling
- Maintain accurate documentation of warehouse activities and inventory
- Identify process improvements to enhance operational efficiency
Qualifications
- 2+ years warehouse/supervisory experience in fast-paced logistics environment
- OSHA 10 certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Valid forklift certification with proven operational experience
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Excellent communication and team leadership abilities
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree preferred
