Responsibilities
- Supervise 5-8 warehouse staff, assigning daily tasks and monitoring performance
- Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain OSHA compliance
- Coordinate inbound/outbound logistics, including inventory management and shipping
- Train staff on equipment operation (forklifts, pallet jacks) and warehouse systems
- Conduct cycle counts and reconcile inventory discrepancies
- Optimize workflow processes to maximize productivity and reduce waste
- Collaborate with transportation teams to ensure timely deliveries
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse/supervisory experience in logistics or manufacturing
- Forklift certification and OSHA safety training required
- Proficiency in inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree preferred
