Responsibilities
- Supervise daily warehouse activities including receiving, inventory control, and order fulfillment
- Lead and train part-time staff on safety protocols, equipment operation, and best practices
- Monitor inventory accuracy through cycle counts and reconciliation procedures
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety standards
- Optimize workflow efficiency and implement continuous improvement initiatives
- Coordinate with transportation teams for seamless dock scheduling
- Maintain accurate documentation of operations, incidents, and performance metrics
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred
- 2+ years warehouse/supervisory experience in logistics or distribution
- OSHA 10/30 certification or willingness to obtain
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and MS Office
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Excellent communication and team leadership skills
