Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities including receiving, storage, and shipping operations
- Train and lead a team of part-time warehouse associates on safety protocols and efficient work methods
- Implement inventory control procedures to maintain accurate stock levels and minimize discrepancies
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety standards at all times
- Optimize warehouse layout and workflows to maximize productivity and space utilization
- Conduct regular equipment inspections and coordinate maintenance for forklifts and machinery
- Generate daily performance reports and recommend process improvements to management
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of warehouse or logistics supervisory experience
- OSHA 30-hour certification or equivalent safety training
- Forklift operation certification and experience with warehouse management systems
- Strong leadership skills with ability to motivate and develop part-time staff
- Proficiency in inventory control software (e.g., SAP, Oracle WMS)
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Ability to work flexible shifts including evenings and weekends as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred
