Responsibilities
- Supervise 5-8 warehouse staff during assigned shifts, assigning tasks and monitoring performance
- Manage inventory control processes including cycle counts and stock reconciliation
- Enforce OSHA safety protocols and maintain a hazard-free workspace
- Coordinate receiving, picking, packing, and shipping operations
- Train and mentor new staff on equipment operation and procedures
- Resolve operational issues and escalate complex problems to management
- Generate daily productivity reports and performance metrics
Qualifications
- 2+ years warehouse supervisory experience in distribution/logistics
- OSHA 10-hour certification or equivalent safety training
- Proficient in warehouse management systems (e.g., WMS, SAP)
- Forklift certification and experience operating material handling equipment
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities
- Excellent communication skills with bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
- Ability to work flexible shifts including evenings/weekends
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree preferred
