Responsibilities
- Manage 15+ team members across 3 shifts, ensuring safety protocols and operational excellence
- Oversee inventory control, including cold storage monitoring and FIFO compliance
- Optimize warehouse layout for efficiency and safety in compliance with OSHA/Alaska regulations
- Coordinate with transportation teams for seamless dock-to-delivery operations
- Implement lean practices to reduce waste and improve throughput
- Conduct daily briefings and performance reviews for warehouse staff
- Maintain accurate records for inventory, safety incidents, and equipment maintenance
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse/supervisory experience in cold chain or logistics
- Forklift certification and OSHA 30-hour training required
- Strong knowledge of inventory management systems (WMS experience preferred)
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights/weekends
- Excellent problem-solving skills in fast-paced environments
- Valid Alaska driver's license with clean record
- Experience with Alaska-specific logistics challenges (weather, remote supply chains)
