Responsibilities
- Supervise 5-8 warehouse staff during assigned shifts, ensuring task completion and quality standards
- Implement and maintain OSHA safety protocols, conduct regular equipment inspections
- Coordinate inbound/outbound logistics, including inventory control and cycle counting
- Optimize warehouse layout and workflow for maximum efficiency and space utilization
- Train and mentor staff on proper equipment operation and handling procedures
- Resolve operational challenges and escalate issues to senior management
- Generate daily productivity reports and maintain accurate documentation
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse/supervisory experience in fast-paced logistics environment
- OSHA certification or equivalent safety training preferred
- Proficient in warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory software
- Valid forklift certification and ability to operate various warehouse equipment
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities
- Excellent communication skills with attention to detail
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Flexible schedule availability including weekends/evenings
