Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, inventory management, and order fulfillment
- Supervise part-time staff, providing guidance and ensuring adherence to safety protocols
- Optimize warehouse layout and processes to maximize efficiency and reduce waste
- Conduct regular safety audits and maintain compliance with OSHA regulations
- Coordinate with transportation teams for seamless loading/unloading of shipments
- Generate daily performance reports and recommend operational improvements
- Train new employees on equipment operation and warehouse procedures
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years warehouse or logistics supervisory experience
- Forklift certification and OSHA safety training required
- Proficient in inventory management systems (e.g., WMS, SAP)
- Strong leadership skills with ability to motivate part-time teams
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred
