Your Role
As a Part-Time Warehouse Supervisor, you will be the bridge between management and floor operations. You will ensure that inventory is managed efficiently, safety protocols are strictly followed, and staff are motivated to deliver excellence.
Responsibilities
- Operational Oversight: Monitor daily warehouse activities to ensure workflow efficiency and timely order fulfillment.
- Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and mentor part-time staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Inventory Management: Conduct regular cycle counts and manage stock levels to ensure 100% accuracy and reduce shrinkage.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce strict safety regulations (OSHA standards) to prevent accidents and ensure a secure workplace for all employees.
- Quality Control: Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damage and accuracy, resolving discrepancies immediately.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine checks on forklifts and material handling equipment to ensure operational readiness.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in warehouse operations or logistics management.
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead a team effectively, even in a part-time capacity.
- Certifications: Valid Forklift Operator Certification is required.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and MS Office Suite.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs), and work in various weather conditions.
