Responsibilities
- Operational Leadership: Oversee daily warehouse functions, ensuring productivity targets are met and processes are optimized.
- Team Management: Supervise and mentor part-time staff, fostering a positive and safe working environment.
- Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels, manage cycle counts, and oversee the accurate receiving and shipping of goods.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce strict safety protocols, conduct safety audits, and ensure all equipment is maintained in good condition.
- Problem Solving: Address operational issues immediately and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of daily activities, logs, and incident reports.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Logistics or Business is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a warehouse supervisory or lead role.
- Skills: Proficient in inventory management systems and MS Office Suite.
- Certifications: Valid Forklift Operator Certificate is highly preferred.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform physical tasks as needed.
