Responsibilities
- Operational Leadership: Supervise daily warehouse activities, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
- Team Management: Mentor and direct part-time staff, fostering a culture of accountability, safety, and teamwork.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce OSHA safety standards and conduct regular safety audits to maintain a secure work environment.
- Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels, manage inventory discrepancies, and ensure proper organization of warehouse space.
- Process Improvement: Identify workflow bottlenecks and implement solutions to optimize productivity and reduce costs.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of warehouse operations and supervisory experience.
- License: Valid Forklift Operator Certification is required.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to lead briefings effectively.
- Organization: Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
- Availability: Must be available to work part-time hours, including weekends or evenings as needed.
