Responsibilities
- Select and verify merchandise using handheld scanners or pick lists to ensure accurate order fulfillment.
- Package items securely using appropriate materials (boxes, tape, bubble wrap) to prevent damage during transit.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with OSHA safety standards.
- Inspect products for defects and report any discrepancies to the team lead immediately.
- Operate warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks and forklifts (training provided).
- Load and unload trucks efficiently to meet daily shipping targets.
Qualifications
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Basic math skills for scanning and inventory verification.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Reliable transportation to and from the warehouse location.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions if working in a dock door or outdoor yard.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience preferred.
