Responsibilities
- Picking & Packing: Accurately pick items from the warehouse shelves and pack them securely for shipment using standard packaging materials.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory counts by scanning barcodes and verifying item descriptions against purchase orders.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate pallet jacks, forklifts (if certified), and handheld scanners to move products efficiently.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage or defects before packing to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to maintain a safe work environment.
- Area Maintenance: Keep your workstation, aisles, and shipping areas clean and organized at all times.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to read labels, pick orders correctly, and minimize errors.
- Reliability: Must be punctual and able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse, fulfillment center, or retail stocking role is preferred but not required.
- Basic Math Skills: Comfortable with basic arithmetic for scanning and inventory counts.
- Teamwork: Ability to collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors.
