Responsibilities
- Select and retrieve merchandise from warehouse shelves using handheld scanners and RF guns based on digital pick lists.
- Verify product quantities and conditions to ensure high accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Package items securely using appropriate materials (bubble wrap, boxes, tape) to prevent damage during transit.
- Label packages correctly and prepare them for shipment according to carrier guidelines.
- Maintain a tidy, organized, and safe work area, adhering to all OSHA safety standards.
- Operate warehouse machinery such as pallet jacks or forklifts as required and trained.
- Assist in inventory counts and stock rotation to optimize warehouse efficiency.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended shifts (8+ hours).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Basic computer literacy and experience using handheld scanning devices is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow written and verbal instructions precisely.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to work well under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Reliable attendance record and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
