Responsibilities
- Retrieve, verify, and pick customer orders using handheld scanners and warehouse management systems.
- Pack items securely and accurately into appropriate containers for shipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Inspect merchandise for damages and report discrepancies immediately.
- Operate material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts) safely and within guidelines.
- Collaborate with team leads to optimize workflow and meet daily productivity targets.
- Perform inventory checks and cycle counts as required.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with barcode scanners.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Reliable transportation to and from the Chicago facility.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
