Responsibilities
- Picking and Packing: Accurately locate items on shelves using scanners and pick them from inventory to fulfill customer orders.
- Quality Control: Inspect items for damage and ensure they are properly packaged to prevent damage during transit.
- Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate stock levels and report discrepancies immediately.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols, including wearing PPE and maintaining a clean workspace.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate handheld scanners, pallet jacks, and forklifts (training provided).
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and other warehouse staff to ensure efficient workflow.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Basic Math Skills: Comfortable with basic addition and subtraction for inventory counts.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in picking and packing tasks.
- Reliability: Punctual and willing to work flexible hours as needed.
- Communication: Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred, but not strictly required.
