Responsibilities
- Select and retrieve merchandise from storage areas using a handheld scanner or RF gun based on customer orders.
- Package items securely using appropriate materials to prevent damage during transit.
- Verify order accuracy by cross-referencing picking slips and packing lists.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all safety and sanitation regulations.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts (training provided) as required.
- Collaborate with team leads to meet daily shipping and receiving quotas.
- Assist in inventory cycle counts and stock replenishment as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous experience in warehouse, retail, or logistics is a plus but not required.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to operate scanning equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
