Responsibilities
- Pick and Pack Orders: Accurately select and prepare merchandise according to customer orders using handheld scanners and warehouse management systems.
- Quality Assurance: Inspect products for damage and ensure that items are correctly packed to prevent shipping errors.
- Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records by scanning items and reporting discrepancies immediately.
- Warehouse Organization: Keep workstations, aisles, and storage areas clean, safe, and organized at all times.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate powered industrial trucks (if certified) and other warehouse equipment to transport materials.
- Shipping & Receiving: Assist in loading and unloading trailers, ensuring proper handling of goods.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies to maintain a secure working environment.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- No Experience Required: Previous warehouse experience is a plus, but not mandatory; we teach you everything you need to know.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy to minimize errors in order fulfillment.
- Basic Math Skills: Comfortable with basic arithmetic for counting and verifying quantities.
- Reliability: Ability to work a consistent schedule, including weekends and overtime as needed.
- Communication: Basic verbal communication skills to interact with team members and supervisors.
- Computer Literacy: Willingness to learn to use handheld scanners and warehouse software.
