Responsibilities
- Picking Orders: Accurately select items from the warehouse shelves based on digital pick tickets and customer orders.
- Packing & Labeling: Safely pack items into boxes, ensuring proper protection and accurate labeling for shipment.
- Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining inventory accuracy by performing regular cycle counts and reporting discrepancies.
- Equipment Operation: Operate material handling equipment such as hand trucks, pallet jacks, and RF scanners safely and efficiently.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage and ensure all packaging meets company standards before dispatch.
- Maintain Cleanliness: Keep the work area organized, clean, and safe at all times, adhering to all OSHA safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or retail stocking is preferred but not required; on-the-job training provided.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive motions.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to follow instructions and maintain a high level of accuracy in data entry and order fulfillment.
- Availability: Must be available to work a set part-time schedule, including weekends or holidays if necessary.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred.
- Technical Skills: Basic computer literacy is a plus; familiarity with handheld scanners (RF guns) is helpful.
