What You Will Do
As a Picker Packer, you play a critical role in ensuring customer satisfaction. Your daily tasks will involve managing inventory and preparing orders with precision.
Responsibilities
- Order Fulfillment: Accurately pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment using pick-to-light systems.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for defects, damages, or accuracy before packaging to ensure 100% order integrity.
- Equipment Operation: Safely and efficiently operate warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks, forklifts (if certified), and conveyor systems.
- Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate stock levels and updating inventory records in our warehouse management system.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and company protocols to maintain a hazard-free environment.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and coworkers to optimize workflow and meet daily productivity targets.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull items weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or retail stocking is highly preferred but not required for enthusiastic candidates.
- Technical Skills: Basic computer literacy and the ability to learn new software quickly.
- Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, time management skills, and a positive attitude.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
