Responsibilities
- Select and Prepare Orders: Use handheld scanners to accurately locate, pick, and prepare merchandise for shipment.
- Packaging: Package items securely using appropriate materials to ensure safe delivery.
- Inventory Control: Maintain accurate inventory records and report discrepancies immediately.
- Quality Assurance: Inspect products for damage and ensure all orders meet our high-quality standards.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and warehouse regulations at all times.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other warehouse equipment as required.
- Team Collaboration: Work effectively with team members to meet daily production goals and deadlines.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or retail is a plus but not required.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods, walk extensively, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Technical Skills: Basic computer literacy and the ability to learn scanning software quickly.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Availability: Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
