Responsibilities
- Select and retrieve merchandise from warehouse shelves using RF scanners and handheld devices.
- Package items securely using appropriate materials to ensure damage-free transit.
- Verify order accuracy by checking picking tickets and packing slips meticulously.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Operate standard warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks and forklifts (certification provided upon hire).
- Assist in inventory counts and stock rotation to ensure accurate inventory levels.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution center, or retail picking role is a plus.
- Ability to lift, carry, and move items weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in various temperature-controlled environments.
- Strong attention to detail and basic math skills for order verification.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
