Job Overview
As a Weekend Picker Packer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our customers receive their orders accurately and on time. You will be responsible for scanning items, packing them securely, and preparing them for shipment.
Responsibilities
- Pick and pack customer orders with 99% accuracy using handheld scanners and warehouse management systems.
- Inspect merchandise for defects and ensure proper packaging to prevent damage during transit.
- Organize inventory and maintain a clean, safe workspace in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Load outbound trucks efficiently and accurately sort incoming shipments.
- Collaborate with team leads to meet daily production targets and overtime goals.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift, carry, and push items weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Basic computer skills and willingness to learn scanning equipment.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance record.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced, temperature-controlled warehouse environment.
