Job Overview:
As a Weekend Picker Packer, you will be responsible for retrieving, selecting, and preparing products for shipment. You will ensure that every order is accurate, packaged securely, and ready for delivery. This role requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a fast-paced team.
Responsibilities
- Retrieve customer orders from the warehouse or digital inventory system with high accuracy.
- Package items securely using appropriate materials to prevent damage during transit.
- Operate handheld scanners and inventory management software to track stock levels.
- Inspect products for quality assurance and remove any defective items.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to resolve any discrepancies in orders.
- Adhere to all company safety protocols and standard operating procedures.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
- Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or retail fulfillment is preferred but not mandatory.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to learn new software quickly.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to spot errors.
- Ability to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) on a consistent schedule.
- Reliable internet connection and a quiet workspace if working remotely.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift boxes weighing up to 50 lbs.
