Responsibilities
- Operate heavy machinery, including sit-down forklifts and pallet jacks, to load and unload freight efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Perform inventory checks and ensure accurate stock placement in the warehouse.
- Collaborate with team leads to meet daily shipping and receiving targets.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on forklift equipment to ensure operational safety.
- Adhere to all safety protocols, including proper lifting techniques and traffic management.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Certification (required).
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution center.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physically capable of standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Availability for overtime and weekend shifts as needed.
