Responsibilities
- Order Fulfillment: Accurately pick and pack customer orders using handheld RF scanners and warehouse management systems.
- Inventory Control: Verify item quantities and ensure correct packaging materials are used to prevent damage.
- Quality Assurance: Inspect products for defects and ensure all items meet company standards before shipping.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and OSHA guidelines to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and your team.
- Equipment Handling: Operate pallet jacks, forklifts (if certified), and other warehouse machinery safely and efficiently.
- Stock Organization: Keep the warehouse aisles clear and organized to facilitate efficient workflow.
- Reporting: Report any damaged goods, missing inventory, or equipment malfunctions to the shift supervisor immediately.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Reliability: Must be punctual and able to maintain a consistent attendance record.
- Communication: Good verbal communication skills and ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy when handling inventory and completing orders.
- Work Ethic: Motivated to work in a fast-paced warehouse setting with a team-oriented approach.
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years of age to operate warehouse equipment.
