Responsibilities
- Architect scalable quantum computing systems leveraging superconducting qubits and photonic processors
- Lead R&D initiatives for quantum error correction algorithms targeting 99.9% fidelity by 2026
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quantum-classical hybrid computing workflows
- Develop patentable quantum machine learning frameworks for real-world applications
- Mentor junior researchers while publishing breakthrough findings in Nature/Science journals
- Secure $5M+ in government grants and private partnerships for quantum initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Proven expertise in quantum circuit design and quantum algorithm optimization
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals or conference proceedings
- Mastery of quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and cloud quantum platforms
- Experience with cryogenic engineering and quantum hardware integration
- Strong track record of translating theoretical concepts into scalable commercial solutions
