Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and cryptography
- Lead experiments on IBM Quantum and Rigetti systems
- Publish breakthrough research in Nature/Science journals
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information theory
- Secure $5M+ in NSF/DARPA grants
- Develop error correction protocols for fault-tolerant computing
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics/Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 3+ years quantum algorithm development
- Proficiency in Qiskit/Quil programming languages
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems
- Strong background in linear algebra and topology
- Validated track record of securing government research grants
