Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperature/humidity levels in refrigerated and frozen storage units
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and refrigeration equipment safely
- Conduct routine inventory audits using digital tracking systems
- Implement HACCP and OSHA compliance protocols
- Coordinate loading/unloading of temperature-sensitive shipments
- Document facility operations using mobile reporting tools
- Train new hires on cold safety procedures
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year warehouse or cold storage experience
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Basic computer skills for inventory management systems
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
- Valid Ohio driver's license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Flexible schedule availability (including nights/weekends)
