Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, and shipping activities
- Manage and mentor a team of 15+ warehouse staff, ensuring performance standards
- Implement and maintain OSHA safety protocols and compliance procedures
- Optimize inventory control systems to minimize discrepancies and maximize space utilization
- Coordinate with transportation teams for seamless logistics execution
- Analyze operational data to drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Prepare reports on productivity, inventory accuracy, and safety metrics
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years warehouse management experience with 2+ in leadership roles
- OSHA 30-hour certification or equivalent safety credentials
- Proficiency in WMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Strong analytical skills with experience in KPI tracking
- Forklift certification and equipment operation expertise
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights/weekends
- Proven track record in process optimization and cost reduction
