Responsibilities
- Strategic Roadmap Development: Design and execute the 5-year technology strategy specifically targeting milestones for the year 2026, aligning business goals with emerging tech trends.
- R&D Leadership: Oversee research initiatives in Artificial Intelligence, Quantum Computing, and Sustainable Tech, acting as the primary liaison between the R&D team and executive leadership.
- Trend Analysis: Conduct deep-dive market research to identify disruptive technologies and geopolitical factors that will influence the industry landscape in 2026.
- Project Governance: Manage high-level projects from conception to deployment, ensuring budget adherence, timeline compliance, and quality assurance.
- Stakeholder Management: Communicate complex technical strategies to non-technical stakeholders, fostering buy-in and driving organizational alignment.
- Innovation Incubation: Spearhead pilot programs for experimental technologies to validate their viability for large-scale implementation.
Qualifications
- Education: Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field. PhD preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in strategic planning, technical management, or R&D leadership within a Fortune 500 environment.
- Tech Stack: Deep understanding of AI, Machine Learning, Blockchain, and Quantum Computing architectures.
- Strategic Thinking: Proven ability to forecast industry shifts and develop forward-thinking strategies that mitigate risk and maximize opportunity.
- Leadership: Demonstrated experience leading diverse teams of engineers, data scientists, and product managers.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to present complex data and strategic plans to executive stakeholders.
