Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable machine learning models for autonomous navigation and sensor fusion.
- Architect high-availability systems capable of processing real-time telemetry data from orbital assets.
- Collaborate with aerospace engineers to integrate AI components into hardware systems.
- Lead the R&D initiative for next-generation Natural Language Processing (NLP) interfaces for mission control.
- Mentor junior engineers and establish coding standards for the AI department.
- Conduct rigorous testing and validation of algorithms to ensure safety and efficacy in extreme environments.
Qualifications
- Masterβs or PhD in Computer Science, Robotics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in AI/ML engineering.
- Strong proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and C++.
- Experience with deep learning frameworks and distributed computing systems.
- Proven track record of deploying models to production environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
