Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts with precision in high-volume environments
- Execute inventory control procedures using RF scanners and WMS systems
- Maintain OSHA compliance through daily equipment inspections and safety protocols
- Coordinate cross-functional operations with receiving, shipping, and inventory teams
- Train junior operators on safe material handling techniques
- Optimize warehouse layouts for maximum efficiency during peak seasons
Qualifications
- 2+ years of certified forklift operation experience
- OSHA Forklift Certification (valid or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and stand for 8+ hours
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Strong attention to detail in inventory documentation
- Valid Ohio driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights/weekends during peak seasons
