Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts in high-volume warehouse environments
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to optimize loading/unloading processes
- Conduct daily pre-operation inspections and report equipment malfunctions
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company policies
- Train new operators on equipment operation and safety procedures
- Support year-round inventory audits and stock rotation initiatives
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA forklift certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 2 years of recent forklift operation experience
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screen
- High school diploma or equivalent required
