Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts in busy warehouse environments
- Load/unload shipments with meticulous attention to inventory accuracy
- Maintain detailed records of material movements and equipment inspections
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflow efficiency
- Perform routine equipment maintenance checks and report issues promptly
- Train new operators on safety standards and operational best practices
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (OSHA-approved) with 3+ years of experience
- Proven ability to operate multiple forklift types (electric, propane, narrow-aisle)
- Strong knowledge of warehouse safety regulations and inventory systems
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- Valid Washington state driver's license with clean record
- Experience with WMS inventory management software preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required
