Responsibilities
- Operate electric/pneumatic forklifts to move, stack, and organize inventory efficiently
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Ensure strict adherence to OSHA safety protocols and company policies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize loading/unloading processes
- Train junior staff on safe equipment operation procedures
- Support warehouse audits and compliance documentation
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA forklift certification (mandatory)
- Minimum 3 years of warehouse/forklift experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Forklift endorsements (Class I, II, III preferred)
- Strong knowledge of inventory management software
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends
- Clean driving record and background check clearance
