Responsibilities
- Operate electric and propane forklifts to move materials within warehouse and yard environments
- Maintain accurate inventory records using WMS systems and RF scanners
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and conduct daily equipment inspections
- Coordinate with receiving/shipping teams for efficient dock operations
- Train junior operators on equipment operation and safety procedures
- Optimize storage layouts to maximize warehouse capacity and accessibility
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA-certified forklift operator license with 3+ years experience
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying temperature conditions
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP)
- Spotless driving record and clean background check
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights/weekends
- Forklift certifications for multiple equipment types (reach, order picker)
