Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move palletized materials
- Perform daily pre-operation equipment inspections and maintenance checks
- Manage inventory with RF scanning technology and WMS software
- Maintain accurate warehouse documentation and shipping records
- Adhere to OSHA and company safety protocols at all times
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient material flow
- Train new operators on equipment handling and safety procedures
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of certified forklift operation experience
- Valid OSHA 10-hour certification and current forklift license
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand for 8+ hours
- Strong attention to detail and inventory accuracy skills
- OSHA 1910.178 certification preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends
