Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts (electric/pneumatic) for loading/unloading trucks and warehouse inventory
- Execute inventory management tasks using RF scanners and WMS systems
- Maintain precise warehouse organization and FIFO compliance
- Conduct pre/post-shift equipment inspections and safety checks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless material flow
- Train junior operators on safety protocols and equipment operation
- Document daily activities in digital maintenance logs
Qualifications
- OSHA-certified forklift operator with 3+ years industrial experience
- Valid DC driver's license and clean MVR record
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- OSHA 10/30 certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in varied temperatures
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance record
- Basic math skills for inventory reconciliation
- Flexibility to work occasional overtime and weekends
