Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts in high-volume warehouse environment
- Inspect and maintain equipment daily to ensure OSHA compliance
- Load/unroll freight with 100% accuracy using RF scanners
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflow
- Maintain organized inventory in WMS system
- Train junior operators on safety protocols
- Participate in monthly safety drills and audits
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA-approved forklift certification (current or within 30 days)
- 2+ years experience in warehouse operations
- Ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly
- Proficient in RF scanning systems
- Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness
- Excellent communication skills (bilingual Spanish a plus)
- Clean driving record and drug-free workplace compliance
- Ability to work rotating weekends during peak seasons
