Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts with precision in high-volume environments
- Execute inventory control procedures using RF scanners and WMS systems
- Maintain strict safety compliance per OSHA and company protocols
- Coordinate cross-functional teams for efficient dock operations
- Perform pre/post-shift equipment inspections and maintenance logs
- Train new operators on safety standards and equipment operation
- Optimize storage layouts to maximize warehouse efficiency
Qualifications
- OSHA Forklift Certification (valid or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 2 years of industrial forklift operation experience
- Proficient with RF scanning technology and warehouse management systems
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work 8-12 hour shifts
- Strong communication skills in English (bilingual Spanish a plus)
- Clean MVR and ability to pass background/drug screening
- Knowledge of Austin traffic patterns for local deliveries
