Responsibilities
- Operate electric/pneumatic forklifts to move, stack, and organize palletized materials efficiently
- Conduct pre-shift equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
- Maintain accurate inventory records using WMS systems
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company procedures
- Coordinate with receiving/shipping teams for seamless material flow
- Train junior operators on safe equipment operation
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA forklift certification required
- Minimum 3 years' experience operating sit-down forklifts
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends
- Pass background check and drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent required
