Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts in fast-paced warehouse environments
- Accurately load/unload shipments using pallet jacks and hydraulic equipment
- Maintain detailed inventory logs using warehouse management systems
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and conduct pre-shift equipment inspections
- Train junior operators on proper material handling techniques
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize warehouse workflows
Qualifications
- 2+ years of certified forklift operation experience
- Valid OSHA forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and work in varying temperatures
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems
- Clean driving record and background check clearance
