Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely and efficiently drive forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment to move materials and products throughout the facility.
- Inventory Management: Accurately pick, pack, and stage orders according to shipping labels and work orders to ensure timely delivery.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all OSHA regulations and company safety protocols, including conducting daily pre-shift equipment inspections.
- Load & Unload Operations: Safely load and unload trailers, railcars, and delivery trucks while maintaining the integrity of the goods.
- Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace by sweeping, organizing aisles, and removing debris.
- Documentation: Accurately complete necessary paperwork, including logbooks and inventory reports.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (Class A, B, or C) required.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or manufacturing setting.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for extended periods, and maneuver in tight spaces.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and quality control when handling inventory.
- Background Check: Must pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
