Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down/stand-up forklifts and pallet jacks in high-volume warehouse environment
- Execute inventory control procedures including cycle counts, stock rotation, and quality checks
- Maintain accurate digital records via warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Conduct pre/post-shift equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize loading/unloading efficiency
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company SOPs
- Mentor junior staff on equipment operation and safety standards
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA-approved forklift certification (current or able to obtain within 30 days)
- 2+ years of experience in warehouse or logistics operations
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand/walk for 8+ hours
- Proficiency with inventory software and digital tracking systems
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to zero-accident record
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Basic math skills for inventory reconciliation
- Valid North Carolina driver's license preferred
