Responsibilities
- Operate industrial forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficiently to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse.
- Maintain accurate inventory records through cycle counting and stock verification processes.
- Inspect forklifts for safety issues before operation and report any mechanical problems to management.
- Ensure adherence to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols at all times.
- Collaborate with team leads to optimize warehouse flow and resolve operational bottlenecks.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards.
Qualifications
- Valid Class I or Class III Forklift Operator Certification (Must be presented at interview).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse or logistics setting.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
- Strong physical stamina to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
- Basic math skills for inventory counts and pallet organization.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends as needed.
