Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in receiving, storage, and distribution of goods.
- Supervise, train, and mentor a team of warehouse staff to maintain high productivity and safety standards.
- Conduct regular safety audits and enforce OSHA compliance to prevent accidents and ensure a secure working environment.
- Manage inventory levels, conducting cycle counts and reconciling discrepancies with precision.
- Coordinate with logistics teams and external vendors to ensure timely shipping and receiving of materials.
- Implement and optimize warehouse procedures and best practices to improve workflow.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree or relevant certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehouse management or logistics, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate a diverse team.
- Forklift certification and valid driver's license are mandatory.
- Proficiency in warehouse management software (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime as needed.
