Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts in high-volume warehouse environment
- Manage inventory with RF scanners and WMS systems for precision tracking
- Coordinate cross-functional teams for efficient loading/unloading of high-value goods
- Maintain equipment through daily inspections and preventative maintenance protocols
- Implement OSHA-compliant safety procedures in all material handling operations
- Mentor junior operators on advanced equipment operation and safety protocols
- Optimize warehouse layout for maximum efficiency and space utilization
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience operating sit-down and stand-up forklifts in warehouse settings
- Valid OSHA certification and current forklift operator license
- Proficiency with inventory management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle WMS)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Forklift certification from accredited training program
- Strong communication and team collaboration abilities
- Experience with hazardous material handling preferred
